Did up a wedding journal over at http://juneseventwothousandeight.blogspot.com/. Entries will be about the pre-wedding preparations, after the wedding, and hopefully till I get a baby, and then it'll be about my baby! Awww.

The blog will be written in English and Malay. So for most of you here, you'd probably not understand a few sentences here and there. But I love my language, gotta stick to it ait! However, I'll try to make it as internationally readable as possible. Haha.

Oh and, if any of you are curious on the procedures of a Malay wedding, you should definitely drop by to read up on it. I might post some brief description here, and if you want the details head over to the blog. But there's only one entry for now.

Okay, thought I'd just combine my other journal with this. I created a Profile page over at Facebook. Lia thought it was weird to create a fan profile of my own. Well yeah, I admit it does sound weird, but I like the features there, it's really convenient, especially for updates on latest info, event, new works, videos. It's pretty much all in one, rather than having to have accounts all over the net, for videos or photos.

Yeah, nothing much to talk about. Haven't been as active in shooting as I planned to. I guess it takes a while to regain the mood. I've been quite paralyzed, both mind + body. Don't seem to have the urge or strength to take photos like I used to.

I consider it a loooong break.

Anyways, only a few more months till I get married. Yikes. Tomorrow my tailor will come over for fitting. Wee can't wait! Seriously excited.

I have so much on my mind, and heart. Mostly good things. And I think that's pretty much why I haven't been picking up the camera, and shooting like I used to. I guess I'm so happy that I no longer need the camera to fill the void. Something else has taken over my passion. Love perhaps? Either that, or I'm just getting lazier by day. Haha.

Anyways, birthday is on 23rd March. This Sunday. I'm aiming for a MicroKorg. Nyum, nyum!

And start shooting other people! Problem is pretty much me and my time management, I tend to drag things and delay them, so I can never really find the time to go out on a photo shoot. Not that I don't have anyone to model for me, it's just that I can't seem to organize myself to set a date or time to meet up.

So in the end, it's more and more self-portraits. Sigh. But I haven't been doing much since last year, only started again with a few shots. Just to get back in touch with my camera, as it's been forever since I did shoot something 'artsy' before I move on and start taking photos of others.

As I mentioned in my previous journal entries, I do wanna shoot more film this year. I actually did start, but haven't finished the roll yet. Hopefully it helps me learn the technicals, and slowly gets rid of my dependency on digital. Not that I'll ditch it entirely, but yeah, I just really need to work on my in camera skills, instead of 'fixing' the photos after the shot is taken in Photoshop. I've been spoiled.

Other than this issue I'm facing, me and my bandmates are trying to get record our songs. We tried at home, but it wasn't that balanced, we need a mixer. Either that, we have to do the recording in a studio. Depends. Hopefully soon though!

Hmm, of and I just sent in the fabric I bought for my wedding dress. I so can't wait to see how it turns out. Now we're looking for a place to do my fiance's tuxedo and a place to rent our wedding garments for the reception on my guys side. Yeah, we do seperate receptions here. And I actually have two wedding gowns, one for the reception and the other for our solemnization ceremony.

I would definitely love to describe how weddings are done here. Perhaps in my future entry. So till then, tata!

Got a new old camera. A Mamiya RB 67. Haven't bought film for it yet. Can't wait to have fun with my new baby!! These photos will be posted on my other dA account though at *SueAnnaJoe. So do keep an eye on that account, if you're interested, it's all analogue there!

Happy 2008 everyone! This year will be pretty much a crazy year for me, I'm getting married somewhere in early June. Funny thing is, I don't feel nervous or excited about it. I guess not yet? So now I'm in the process of everything, from the location to invitation cards, the wedding dress, the ring, e.t.c... Still can't come up with the color scheme I want. My mother keeps on nagging me about it. Haha. And I'm all cool and relaxed about it.I think I'll be going crazy when it's about a month before the wedding.

So, this year, besides getting married, here is the list of things I want/need to do for 2008:

<sub>1. Get my official website done. It's been hanging for over 2 years already?
2. Start reading books, websites on photography. There is so much I don't know, the technical aspects of it.
3. That being said, I want to shoot more film.
4. Shoot more! Haven't been doing any shoots lately. Hopefully photoshoots with other people. Something more elaborate.
5. Gradute.
6. Get a my band Super Animal Junkies's album out. Need to record our songs soon.
7. Perform at more gigs.
8. Come up with a music video.
9. Back to photography again, plan a solo exhibition & perhaps a book too?
10. Gain some weight!
11. Start socializing more, attending events. Networking.
12. Be more active on dA, Flickr, other online sites as well.
13. Work on upgrading my photography equipment.
14. Do more traditional art, handcrafts works besides photography.
15. Work on digital skills as well, photoshop & illustrator.
16. And most importantly, stop procrastinating.</sub>

That's pretty much what I've in my mind so far. So tell me your plans?
