This is for those who helped me get through my tough times, my friends, my family, my love, and the strength I still have.
As for the image, the focus was meant to be on the lines of my palm, and not the fire, because the brightness from the flames naturally creates its own focus, at least that's what I think. Hmm. My works as of late has been very emotional for me, it really shows how I have been feeling these past few weeks. I believe these works have been my best in terms of conveying what I truly feel. These images mean so much to me, because these images really show what I am going through at the moment.  Anna |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. although this photo depicts an emotion rather melancholic, it has an optimistic atmosphere, the light provides hope. To me, the lines in the hands reveal a story, sort of like how they say the wrinkles and scars all have a story behind it, and the darkness of the hands shows a journey with alot of hard times, but the small flicker of flame encased in those lines portrays just that glimpse of hope. as my boyfriend once told me when i wasnt feeling the best "theres always something to look forward to, always. remember that" its a lovely picture Anna, thanx for showing us the way youve been feeling through the beauty of art and photography
